My particular expertise with spirited, go-getting women comes from being one myself! In my previous business, I was a performing singer-songwriter with my own touring and recording company. For years I traveled the country playing concerts and recording CDs full of songs to support women to love themselves, follow their dreams and take good care of themselves. I recorded and released seven albums on my own independent record label, facilitated workshops for women nationwide and even had a song on commercial radio.
Ironically, at the height of my singer-songwriter career which was all about supporting women to take care of themselves, I hit a devastating point of burnout. I had been coming from a "work-hard-make-it-happen" approach for years, and had to make a crucial choice: to keep honoring my passionately-driven nature, but to learn to do so in a way that would fuel me rather than drain me. That choice marked the start of my nine-year journey to find the formula for less effort and more ease that works specifically for us go-getting entrepreneurial types. I know the lessons like the back of my hand because I've lived them over and over again, and I'm really excited that I get to share them with you.
All in all, I've been supporting women in the realm of emotional, physical and spiritual health since 1995. I have worked with hundreds of women in the process. And at this point, I think it's safe to say that thousands of women have heard my music. Along the way, I've gathered various degrees and trainings, including training with Coach University and also completing the core curriculum with the Coaches Training Institute. I deeply believe that when a go-getting woman learns how to tap into her true power rather than push power, there is a healing that happens not only for her, but for our planet and all alive on it. Oh yeah, and it makes her life and business a lot better too!
