The Magic Seed to Focus & Un-scatter
Extraordinary Women Key Theme:
Every once in a while, I notice a theme that shows up for all of my clients at once. Last week, most of the ladies I worked with felt scattered and unfocused in their businesses. They were ending each business day feeling like they'd spewed their energy in inefficient ways and weren't sure what they had to show for it as a result. When a theme like this shows up, I like to bring it to the Launcher, because I have a hunch that many others of you will resonate too...Shining A Light On The Theme:
What I know is that each of you is incredibly wise and powerful. You are each here to bring a certain beautiful gift to the world, and you're doing it through your business. When you stay connected to this original impulse, you light your business up with your own unique brand of magic, and this is what guides you and makes your business truly shine and stand out from the rest.However, it's ridiculously easy to get disconnected from this place. Even if you start your day out feeling clear and focused, by the time you run your decisions through the filters of what you think other people want, what you think you should do, and then your own set of internal doubts, your direction can get pretty muddy pretty fast.
So how do you stay in connection with that guidance and that focus?
The Magic Seedling:
Imagine a seedling just poking its head above the ground. When it receives sun and light, it grows with no problem. If the seedling pops up under a bush with no light in sight, however, it's unlikely it will have the chance to truly flourish.It's the same thing with your business focus. When you doubt yourself and orient your decisions through the lens of others, the seedling (your magic, your spark and from there, your clear focus) is in the dark, shaded from the opportunity to grow and guide you. When you orient from within instead, the seedling receives the light of your attention and it strengthens.
Of course, this can be a tall order. Wouldn't it be obnoxious if I just said, "So stop doubting yourself and always orient through your own lens." Instead, let's look at a small, yet powerful step to give that seedling more light starting right now...
Get Out Your Green Thumb!
Because I'm seeing a theme with my clients, I'm going to go out on a limb and assert that each of you has a seedling in your business that is ready to expand. Something within each of you that is untapped right now and that is ripe for its day in the sun. Maybe it's something you've been wanting to do for a long time in your business, but the conventional advice would warn you against it. Or maybe it's that impulse you've been having, but then you think, "Oh, I can't do that!" Your adventure this week is to notice what it is. You don't necessarily have to do anything about it (unless you can't keep yourself from it once you've noticed it). But bottom-line, just make sure to notice and recognize it for what it is - your original impulse, your magic, your spark.By recognizing this seedling, you are turning your focus back to a central place in your system, rather than orienting from the outside in. The more you are in touch with this place, the more you are able to follow its guidance rather than getting confused by mind-generated doubts or other people's opinions. This doesn't mean you can't consider others' opinions, but acknowledging the seedling strengthens your internal guidance which helps you to see what pieces of other people's opinions are relevant and what aspects don't apply to you.
